Getting started

1. Requirements

OS: a fresh, minimal Ubuntu 24.04 LTS server (22.04 LTS also supported). Don't install other control panels or web servers first.
RAM: 2 GB minimum, 4 GB or more recommended (ClamAV scanning uses extra memory).
CPU / disk: 2 vCPU and 20 GB disk or more.
Network: a public IPv4 address (IPv6 optional) and ports 22, 25, 53, 80, 443, 465, 587, 993 and 995 open.
DNS: a hostname such as server.example.com pointing at the server; ideally two nameserver records (ns1/ns2) for your own nameservers.

SVRMGR licences are by registration only. Contact us to register and we'll get back to you with the next steps.

Open the setup address and create your admin login.
Go to Server Admin › License and enter the licence key from your email.
Check Server Settings: hostname, nameservers and the contact email for alerts.
Create a package, then your first account under Create a New Account. SSL is issued automatically once the domain points at the server.
Turn on 2FA for admins under Hardening, and set a backup schedule in Backup Manager.

Updates are signed. Use Update Manager to update with one click, or turn on automatic updates.
